Before the party starts:

Many problems that surface as a dog matures could have been prevented with proper puppy rearing. You will be way ahead of the game if you have a plan of attack BEFORE your puppy comes home. Whether you are purchasing a puppy from a breeder or plan to look at your local shelter, I can help you prepare and give you many tools to help your puppy be the best dog he/she can be.

Services may include:

Pre-adoption counseling for future adopters of puppies from a shelter or rescue
Preparation for those purchasing from a breeder
Assistance in selecting a puppy from a shelter or rescue

Choosing the right shelter/rescue puppy:

I have years of experience assessing puppies and helping people find the right match. I would be more than happy to visit local shelters with you to help you locate the perfect puppy for your individual needs. For more information, see Behavior Assessments.

Puppies can start learning the basics much earlier than most people think. It's never too early to start training your little one.

Puppy training/socialization package

Four one-on-one training sessions (must be within an 8-week period)
Lessons cover: house training, basic obedience, preparation for visits to the vet and groomer (restraining, etc)
Puppy playgroup
Field trips

Individual training sessions
